This package contains digital design files (CAD) that allow you to adjust the design to your requirements easily. You can edit the design from tolerance clearances to a complete overhaul. These files were created using Fusion 360. Although Fusion Cloud allows 12 file formats, I recommend sticking to Fusion Archive or STEP.
This product is aimed at DIY sim builders who want more control over the print process or how the design operates. The 3D print files are updated and more modern in 3MF format and are compatible with most slicing software.
This package also contains the three print files needed to construct Karl's replica Korry 318 annunciators with the push-to-test feature. This version uses the SMD PCB available [here] and requires additional hardware and components found [here] to complete the build.
You can purchase high-quality fibre laser-coloured lenses [here].
For guidance on assembly and parts, please refer to the accompanying build guide, available [here].
FAQs:
- I can't find the CAD to download in the files. Please open the PDF file. The Fusion 360 cloud link and your password to access the file are found within the document.
- How do I get the latest version of the CAD? Redownload the design using the link, and the newest version will be downloaded.
- Can Karl adjust the design for me? Karl started helping as much as he could, but we now receive upwards of 200 emails a day asking for various requests. This is no longer an option, and we sincerely apologise for losing that helping touch.
