This package contains the three print files needed to construct Karl's replica Korry 318 annunciators with the push-to-test feature. This version uses the SMD PCB available [here] and requires additional hardware and components found [here] to complete the build.
This product is aimed at DIY sim builders who want to keep costs down by printing the cases and possibly the lenses with a dual-filament printer. The files are in the updated and more modern 3MF format, compatible with most slicing software.
You can purchase high-quality fibre laser-coloured lenses [here].
For guidance on assembly and parts, please refer to the accompanying build guide, available [here].
Please note: This package does not include the lens or diffuser, as these cannot be effectively produced using 3D printing technology.
FAQs:
Should I use a resin or filament printer?
A resin printer will produce a smooth finish that typically requires no sanding. A filament printer can be used, but it may lead to ridges that bind.
I have filament-printed the cases, but they bind. What can I do?
You could sand the layer lines smooth. Alternatively, you can increase or decrease the scale of the 3D print file to adjust clearance tolerances.
